Wrestler Anthony Robles of Arizona State was a big winner last Saturday at the Division I NCAA championships in Philadelphia. He beat Matt McDonough, a sophomore from Iowa to win the 125-pound division title. Now, taking a title like that as a senior with a 36 and 0 record is quite a feat. But what's more incredible is Anthony was born with one leg.
He began wrestling in high school at the age of 14. He was not that good at first, but he kept at it, kept improving, eventually going undefeated with a record of 96 and 0 in his last two years of high school.
Anthony doesn't consider having one leg a handicap. He thinks it gives him an advantage.
Hard work and never giving up paid off for Anthony, "BIG TIME"!
