Originally from Flint, Texas, William Clark Green has been writing songs since he was thirteen years old. William says "after some practice and encouragement he opened for The Dragliners in College Station." That was when he was only 14 years old.

Since then he became a Red Raider and with the help of close friend Josh Abbott, William began playing at the Recovery Room, and eventually headlining there which opened the door to multiple shows at the Blue Light on Buddy Holly Blvd. Then William recorded and released "Dangerous Man" in 2008.

William has played live on 99.5 The Bear and now we are proud to announce that William Clark Green has been awarded the New Male Artist of the Year Award from the TRRR. Congratulations to a great guy for achieving greatness here in the great state of Texas.
