Weekend Entertainment Ranges from Stoney LaRue at Wild West to Texas Tech’s Dance Theatre [VIDEO]

It's the weekend and you're probably trying to figure out how to entertain yourself. There are all sorts of possibilities. Live music going on includes Texas Country artist Stoney Larue stirring it up at Wild West on the Interstate near 19th Friday night. Close by, also Friday night, at T&A's is Wade Parks and Friends. And further north Friday in the Depot District at the Cactus Theater is a tribute show to the top bands of the 60s 70s and 80s. Saturday night is a New Talent Showcase at the Cactus, where you'll hear some terrific newcomers who auditioned a few weeks and qualified for the show.

Across from the Cactus at Triple Js Manny Rodriguez performs Friday night and Tori Vasquez showcases her talent Saturday night and the unbelievable guitar talents of John Sprott can be heard there next Tuesday night. Finally, catch watch some beautiful dance moves at Texas Tech's Mainstage theater ainstage with their performance of "Dance Tech, Artistry in Motion". It runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
