Walmart web designers accidentally let a "joke" get published much to their embarrassment this week after inadvertently allowed a draft to be published labeling the women's plus-size Halloween costumes as "fat girl costumes." Whoops!

The obvious angle is the "fat girl" comment. But my main observation is how careful we all need to be with what we post, text and publish. So many times I and we just throw something out there -- whether it's a comment or photo -- and we just don't think it through.

Remember: the pics stay out there whether you delete them or not. And texts, once sent, are like bullets fired from a gun: you can't take 'em back.

Recently, I send an innocent, yet provocative text to my husband who travels quite a lot. I've been known to send him a text or photo that is for his eyes only. That's all great until you realize you accidentally sent it to your pastor who just happens to have the same first name as your husband!

My point is, you've got to be careful about anything you do on the Internet. Technology is a wonderful and powerful tool, but it can also bite you square in the behind if you're not careful.
