The City of Lubbock Health Department will hold vaccination clinics for both adults and children at the following locations during the week of September 29, 2014.

So, the city wants to "stick" it to us, huh? Just kidding -- thanks to the city for offering this!

Even still, I'll probably stay away. I can't do the needle thing. Yeah, I'm a wuss.

Vaccines will be available for ages two months through adulthood.

Adult vaccine prices vary. The cost for children’s vaccines (age 2 months to 18 years) is $15 for one vaccine dose or $20 for two vaccine doses or more.

After speaking with the Heath Department, they told me that currently they only have Hepatitis AB and MMR.

The MMR vaccine is an immunization vaccine against measlesmumps, and rubella (also called German measles).

All children must meet Texas Department of State Health Services’ guidelines to receive state supplied vaccines.  Parents must bring current copy of children’s Medicaid cards. A current immunization record must be presented at time of services.

Anyone with questions may contact the City of Lubbock Health Department Immunization clinic at 775-3090.
