This is probably one of the best examples of turning lemons into internet gold lemonade.Tara Monroe is a Junior at Texas State University-San Marcos who is majoring in industrial engineering. After a Wacka Flocka Flame concert, her license was suspended after she refused to take a breathalyzer test. Her father was upset, and drove down to San Marcos from their hometown of Kingwood, Texas to take away her vehicle. She was left with two options to get around school: bike or walk. Or so her father thought. The genius Monroe went with the more creative purple and pink kid's Barbie Jeep she got on Craigslist from a little girl named Charlene for only $60. She told MySA.com:

"When we drove up to buy it Charlene asked where the little one was to test drive it to which I replied, ‘I am the little one.'"

She now calls the child's toy Jeep Charlene. Since then, Tara Monroe and Charlene have become celebrities at San Marcos, with tons of students taking photos and Snapchats of her driving around campus. Her new rides boasts room for one, max speed of 5 mph and is environmentally friendly by being powered by a 12 volt battery.

Monroe was surprised by how much attention her new ride has gotten on the internet, and even said her friends aren't surprised by her new ride choice.

“Most people don’t find the things me and my friends do very funny, just immature, so I didn’t expect to get this big of a reaction. People who don’t know me are shocked but my friends weren’t even surprised because I do stuff like this all the time....This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame. Basically, it was the best decision I’ve made in college, yet.

Hopefully she means the Barbie Jeep, and not the DUI.
