Thirty-one-year-old Krisandrea Monae Dobbs of Lubbock accepted a federal plea bargain on Thursday (Jan. 4). She was accused of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, a substance more powerful than heroine and 100 times more powerful than morphine, according to court records.

In the same case as Dobbs, 20-year-old Ashlyn Paige Utley, also of Lubbock, accepted a plea deal last month for unlawful use of a communication facility.

Utley's plea has already been accepted. However, Dobbs' plea is still subject to the approval of a federal judge or magistrate. Dobbs will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 20 years in prison. Utley faces no more than four years in federal prison.
