On Sunday morning, July 26, two more Hub City convenience stores were held up at gunpoint.

The first robbery occurred around 4 a.m. Sunday morning at the 7-Eleven located at 5001 University Avenue, and the second just about 40 minutes later at the 7-Eleven located at 8126 University Avenue.

Lubbock police report that in addition to the convenience store chain and the fact both are on University Avenue, there may be another connection in the two robberies. LPD believes both heists were carried out by the same suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties.

The investigation is on-going.
