There was shaved ice, roasted corn, corn dogs, kettle corn, ice cream, fajitas, nachos, etc. But none can compete with the "carnivore's delight"...Turkey Legs! One stand operated by a local family gets their big supply brought up by a company from Belton, Texas, who also supplies personnel to help with sales. While other stands had run out, they had plenty to sell...at $7.00 a leg! (think I'm in the wrong business). Monday's grillers kept 'em hot, wrapped and ready. Turkey legs are not meant to be eaten daily, just on special occasions. So, we won't see them again until the fair this fall.
