Next 2 the Tracks is a Southwestern band from El Paso, TX and Albuquerque, NM dedicated to taking the beauty and diversity of the southwest to the world. They are in Lubbock  and badly need the support of the community. Wanna find out how to help?

Next 2 the Tracks is a group of musicians who have been enjoying a very successful first leg of their tour around the States. The tour- 'How the West is One', is now in it's second leg and here in Lubbock!

While we are more than happy to see Next 2 the Tracks is getting to spend a little extra time in our town, they are needing our communities help to get on their way for the next stop.

I was fortunate enough to get to hear from a band member, Todd Seelau about their situation:

"We are a completely independent band and do all of the work ourselves, with the help of a few friends." Todd explained.  "On the second day of this leg of the tour the transmission went out in our van and we are in Lubbock for a couple of extra days getting it fixed and raising the money that it costs. We are playing a fundraising show is at Jake's Backroom."

So I'm putting it out there to you, Lubbock!

The fundraising show will be Wednesday, February 13th at Jake's Backroom on 50th Street. The show begins at 9 pm and word is, we're in for a treat with more opening bands!

So lets get together and show these guys what real southern hospitality looks like!
