Three Dead After Early Morning Crash In Lubbock

The accident happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday morning and caused a power outage in the area.

Everythinglubbock reports that the accident happened in the 2100 block of West Loop 289 access road.

According to police reports, the car ran into a power pole causing the power outage.

Police have confirmed three dead and say only one car was involved in the wreck.

At this time authorities do not believe this was ice related.
