This one's for the girls. The "top 9 at 9" will feature the female singers in country music. It used to be they played second fiddle to their male counterparts, but not anymore.

Back in the day there were only a few female country music superstars like Loretta Lynn and Reba. Now withTaylor Swift , Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert, the ladies are holding their own.
