The Running of the Brides in Belgrade, Serbia! [VIDEO]

We've all heard of Spain's famous Running of the Bulls, but folks in Belgrade, Serbia have put their own fun twist on things!

You heard that right! The running of the BRIDES!

Yesterday was Belgrade's 3rd annual Bride Running event. It's a 150 meter dash to the finish line and they've given brides a good incentive to run fast! The first and second place winners will get their entire weddings paid for IN FULL!

Brides participating, as you can see, must race in their wedding gowns. Serious competitors take off at the start, but most take their time and enjoy each others company.

One woman in the video says that most women just show up and participate to show their enthusiasm for sports through this event.
