The album would change country music forever. It would start what was called the "outlaw" movement. It was call "Wanted: The Outlaws" and on this day in 1976 it would certified gold.

 

In fact it would be the first country album to sell a million copies.It would go to Number One on the country charts and hit Number Ten on the pop charts.

The album featured Waylon Jennings, his wife Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson and Tompall Glaser.

Two major hit songs came off the album, "Suspicious Minds" by Jennings and Colter, which went to Number Two and "Good Hearted Woman" by Jennings and Nelson. It went to Number One.
