The Chancellor Gives Back To Texas Tech

He, along with the late Margaret Talkington's estate, have donated funds for a chapel to be built on Tech campus. The project's cost is $3 million with the majority of the funds provided by Hance; and no taxpayer money will be used to construct or operate the chapel. It will, in turn, be named the Kent B. Hance Chapel. It'll be a 250 seat non-denominational facility to be completed by June 2012. Location is between University Avenue and the Merket Alumni Center.
