Kimberly Smith was cut off by another car Sunday morning in Irving, Texas, and she ended up flipping her vehicle in the ditch.

Fox News 4 reports that's when the unthinkable happened. A man in a faded red pickup stopped just after she had freed herself, he told her he'd found her purse.

While she was looking for her cellphone he slipped away, then she noticed her wallet was missing.

In the report Smith says after that dozens of cars drove by to take photos but nobody stopped even though she was yelling for someone to call 911.

Finally one man stopped, he was from out-of-state and he assisted her until authorities arrived.

Her parents were obviously upset, they both work in law enforcement. Her father is a retired Dallas officer and her mother works at a jail.

The story leaves you a little worried about humanity and where our heads are.
