If you are a Red Raider basketball fan, you knew it would happen. Well, it happened. Tech finally snapped an eleven game losing streak and beat the Oklahoma Sooners 65-47 this past Saturday night at the United Spirit Arena.

Everyone was on the same page and played great defense, limiting Oklahoma's leading scorer Steven Pledger to just four points. He averages 17.8 a game.

One stat that really stood out was the turnovers. Just seven for the Red Raiders who have been averaging 17.

When it looked like this was going to be the night for Tech, the fans in the arena really got behind their Red Raiders and almost willed them to victory.

What was really neat was that almost everyone in the house stayed to see Tech pick up their first win. Those who left, WHAT WERE THEY THINKIN'.

It was a great win for Tech and now they host Texas A&M tomorrow night in the United Spirit Arena. Tip off is set for 6pm.

The Aggies come in on a four game losing streak and they have won on the road in the Big 12.
