Jonathon Giles was added to the legendary Biletnikoff Award Watchlist. The Award goes to the player in the country who possesses the best ability in catching passes.

Ashley Wirz,

Texas Tech has a history with great receivers. The lone Biletnikoff winner that Texas Tech had was Michael Crabtree. He won the award back to back in his only two seasons at Texas Tech.

Giles is leading the Big 12 in receptions per game and yards per game. He also is leading the league in receiving touchdowns.

While there's no doubt that he's the best WR in the Big 12 thus far, does he stack up nationally?

He's top 10 in touchdowns and yards per game.

I'd say he deserves to be on a watch list. If he has a game or two more like he did against La Tech then he's probably the favorite to win the game.
