Texas Tech has two opportunities to get their seventh win of the season. The first opportunity comes on Thanksgiving this Thursday, November 26. The second opportunity, or an opportunity for an eighth win, comes in the form of a bowl game.

As a Tech fan, there are a lot of positives to winning a bowl game. It provides a good feeling to win the last game of the year. It builds up a positive trajectory for 2016 and will help recruiting.

There is no way to know positively who Tech will face in the impending bowl game. If it's Texas A&M, beating an SEC team in a bowl game would be great -- especially if it's that SEC team.

The bowl game being nationally televised would have mattered more in the past, but all the games are on television now and the Thanksgiving day game will be on after the Cowboys Game. So, at least locally, the Tech game won't have much competition for viewership.

There are also positives to beating Texas. Winning in Austin has not been done in a long time. Texas Tech has an MO of not being able to close out a regular season. Beating Texas would help that.

More than that, the Kliff Kingsbury era Tech has struggled mightily against Big 12 opponents that are not Kansas and Iowa State. This is a prime opportunity to get Kingsbury's first win against the Longhorns.

You also get to end Texas' shot at a bowl game. This would make them 4-7 and mathematically out of the bowl conversation. That may be the biggest factor.

In a dream scenario, Tech beats both Texas and whatever sorry suckers draw the wrath of Raider Red in a bowl game, finishing the year 8-5, doubling last seasons win total and matching 2013's record.

As a Texas Tech fan, which win do you want more?
