The Texas Rangers have been asked to investigate an incident that involved Lubbock Mayor Glen Robertson to some degree.

KAMC News reports that Lubbock Police were called out to a business at 833 East 40th Street Monday morning around 8am. In the police report obtained by KAMC, 47 year-old Daniel Gonzales claimed that someone pulled a gun on him.

After police arrived on the scene, no one was arrested, and the investigation was turned over to the Texas Rangers. According to Lubbock CAD, 833 East 40th Street is the location of Robertson Bonded Warehouse, property that is owned by Mayor Robertson.

Mayor Robertson released a brief statement to local media, saying, “I am aware of the incident in question and I am cooperating fully with authorities. I am unable to comment further at this time and until more information becomes available.”
