Texas Mother Throws Marijuana and Beer Party for Teenagers

A 32-year-old Texas mother hosted a party at her house with beer and pot for 10 kids ranging from 12 to 14 years old.

According to The Smoking Gun, Mandy Wells is facing a felony and misdemeanor charge in connection with the house party she had over the weekend with her child's friends.

According to the report, Wells provided the kids with Coors Light beer and pot, which she packed into a Hello Kitty pipe.

Apparently, Wells told police she "thought for a minute that it was a bad idea but she did it anyway."  The mom insisted she kept things under control and there were no problems.

Police found out about the party from the parents of one of the partygoers.

Wells also said she is "self-medicating" her child with pot because her daughter is depressed and her medication is not working.

Her children have been removed from her home and are in the custody of the state's child protective services division.
