Texas Monthly featured our very own Coach Kliff Kingsbury! It almost sounds like they're in love... :)

The meteoric rise of Texas Tech’s Kliff Kingsbury, the second-youngest head coach in the country and probably the most dashing.-Texas Monthly

Jason Cohen from Texas Monthly sat down and spoke with Kliff Kingsbury about everything football.

Remember back to the day in December when texts, tweets, posts, and breaking sports

news updates informed us all of Tubbs bailing on us.....Kliff remembers then, too. He said in the interview that they were up in New York for Johnny Manziel's Heisman nomination and had a nice New York weekend planned, but when Tubbs fled the Tech scene, the phone began to ring.

I knew that if that job ever came open I’d be very interested. I had a pretty good gig going there in College Station with that quarterback coming back and that team coming back, so I wouldn’t have left for just any job. This was the one.

I gotta say, we are looking really forward to this upcoming season of Texas Tech Football with Kliff on the helm. There's so much history with him for Texas Tech and he isn't one of the youngest head coaches in history for no reason. He's got game :) We're ready to see the action!
