Two boys from the Vanguard College Prep School decided that the team they were playing needed some fans, so they convinced half of their fans to cheer them on.

Why would any team do this?  Well, their opponents the Gainesville Tornadoes have very few fans attending their games, because they are a juvenile correctional facility that houses felony offenders. According to the report above from CBS News, no students get to attend away games and very few parents ever come either.

Vanguard College Prep player Ben Martison and Hudson Bradley said it "doesn’t seem right" for a team to challenge another without fans. So they asked half their fans to cheer for the other team.

It was a very moving experience to say the least, one both teams will never forget. Watch the video above for more.
