The Texas Department of Public Safety seized 32 kilograms of cocaine during a traffic stop in south Texas.

Last Friday (Sept. 14) around 4 p.m., a DPS trooper stopped a vehicle in Jackson County for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper called a canine, where the trooper then discovered 32 kilograms of cocaine.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 54 year-old Jaime Gomez, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
