It would seem that Taylor Swift is changing her signature scent in 2012. After the release of a first fragrance last year, the 22-year-old sensation has unveiled a follow-up spritzer, Wonderstruck Enchanted. The name suits the ‘Mine’ hitmaker’s free-spirited, vibrant persona — and so does her new perfume bottle. Made from red glass and adorned with tiny flower and bird charms, Wonderstruck Enchanted is the perfect essence of a new, more mature Taylor Swift.

“Wonderstruck Enchanted is the next chapter in the story of my Wonderstruck fragrance,” Swift said in an announcement on her Facebook page. The scent, which is in conjunction with Elizabeth Arden, is described as an” irresistible blend of luscious wild berries and sugar-glazed petals, wrapped in a touch of sensuality.”

Wonderstruck Enchanted is an extension of Wonderstruck, Swift’s first foray into the perfume world last fall. The ‘Love Story’ singer described the original scent as having “warm, spicy tones” and “caramel notes” — so the Enchanted version is promising to be a bit different. Swift ensures that her second installment of perfume is rooted in romance.

“Wonderstruck is about that moment when you instantly feel a connection to someone, but then there’s that feeling of being completely enamored — enchanted — when you know a little more about that someone and still feel that strong connection,” she said.

It sounds like Swift’s new scent will be a treat for our noses, but unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until September to by a bottle. Wonderstruck Enchanted will be sold in department stores and specialty boutiques just in time for the holiday season… hopefully along with the release of her new album.
