Tanya Tucker has been forced to postpone a few of her upcoming shows following an onstage fall and a recent bout of bronchitis. The “Delta Dawn” singer will be rescheduling three concerts originally set for this week (Jan. 8-14).

According to a statement from Tucker’s management on Wednesday (Jan. 11), Tucker has been hospitalized in Texas following a fall during a recent concert, in which the singer fractured a vertebrae in her back and injured her rib. While in the hospital, Tucker was diagnosed with bronchitis, and she is now recovering through physical therapy and breathing treatments. Therefore, she is postponing three upcoming shows: Jan. 12 in Tulsa, Okla., Jan. 13 in Emporia, Kan., and Jan. 14 in Grant, Okla.

“We’ve been having a blast with the band and fans on the road, and I’m so mad this happened,” Tucker says in a statement. “I was really looking forward to seeing all the Okies and fans in Kansas this week, but we have to postpone the shows. I’ll do my very best to make it up for y’all. Let’s hope for no more accidents this year, and I look forward to a great 2017.”

Tucker’s Tulsa show, at the the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, has been rescheduled for Feb. 23, and her Jan. 13 concert at Emporia’s Granada Theatre will now take place on March 3; original tickets for both shows will be honored on the new dates, and the venues are also offering full refunds for those unable to attend. (Tulsa ticket holders can find more information here, while Emporia attendees can learn more here.) There is no word yet, however, on the new date for Tucker’s show at the Choctaw Event Center in Grant. Her next scheduled show is set to take place on Feb. 18 in Breman, Ga.

Tucker’s health issues come in the middle of her North American tour, and as she celebrates her recent Cliffe Stone Pioneer Award win at the 2016 ACM Honors. She was also forced to postpone a string of dates in October due to an upper respiratory infection.
