Great news! Tank, the Lubbock rottweiler who was found abandoned and missing his back right leg and crippled in his back left leg, will receive the wheelchair he so desperately needs.

Kay'lea Talbott, who found Tank near her home, set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for a specially designed wheelchair for Tank. After 98 KOOL met Tank and shared his touching story, the GoFundMe page quickly broke its $1,000 goal.

Way to go Lubbock for reaching out to help in this cause!

I spoke with Talbott, who found Tank and his buddy Wylie last Sunday, after hearing the news that Tank's page reached its goal. She wanted me to express her gratitude and said the money is being put in a bank account for Tank. The scrappy dog is actually going to be measured for his wheelchair Wednesday.

Talbott said that she will bring Tank and Wylie back up to the 98 KOOL studios once Tank has his wheelchair.

"Thank you to all of your listeners. We couldn't have done this without them," Talbott said.

Amen to that, Kay'Lea!
