After much consideration and voting, the Country Radio Broadcasters (CBR) have come to a final decision about which country music newcomers will make up the 2013 New Faces showcase, which will be held next year during Country Radio Seminar (CRS).
Jana Kramer cut short a show in West Palm Beach, Fla. and was taken to the hospital after falling ill on Saturday night (Dec. 1). Her boyfriend, fellow country singer Brantley Gilbert, was also at the WIRK Country Christmas show and was able to swoop in to carry her off of the stage when it became clear she couldn't continue.
Jana Kramer's 'Whiskey' lyrics -- penned by songwriters Catt Gravitt and Sam Mizell -- were just too good to resist for the newcomer, who chose the song as the second single from her debut album. And as Mizell tells Taste of Country, the hit began as just a title.
Craig Morgan and Jana Kramer are just two of the celebrities who have signed on to be part of Scott Hamilton's televised 'Kaleidoscope on Ice' event, which will celebrate the tough men and women who have survived cancer.
Life is good for Brantley Gilbert. At the CMA Songwriters Series in Nashville last week (Oct. 31), Gilbert showed off his vocal and songwriting prowess alongside a stellar lineup of fellow hit songwriters, including Sugarland's Kristian Bush, Bob DiPiero ('Southern Voice,' 'Blue Clear Sky') and Brett James ('Cowboy Cassanova,' 'Blessed').
In addition to being in the grip of fear herself, Jana Kramer gave her Twitter followers and her fans a big scare when she issued a real-time Twitter update while on a distressed plane yesterday morning. The singer tweeted that she was "terrified" that her flight was about to make an emergency touchdown back in Miami without landing gear. It was a true "Oh my God" moment.
Jana Kramer appeared solid on the Country scene with her hit, 'Why You Wanna,' a heart broken country song about wishing her ex would do anything, but make her keep wanting him. Now, she's got a new song out called, 'Whiskey'.
Brantley Gilbert and Jana Kramer are officially country music's newest couple. The 'Kick It in the Sticks' singer confessed Friday morning that he and the actress/singer are an item, gushing, "I'm a very, very happy man."
Newcomer Jana Kramer‘s voice will soon be heard more than ever before, as the brown-haired ‘One Tree Hill’ star has signed on to sing the well-known Nationwide Insurance jingle, ‘On Your Side,’ in a new series of commercials.
It's time for another sizzling round of The Bear's "Yank it or Krank it!" You'll remember Casey James from "American Idol" a year ago. Casey was one of my favorite artists from that season and according to Casey, he lucked out coming in third place
