Dan Law field, the home of the Texas Tech Baseball team, was far behind other ballparks in the Big 12. All that will change come Friday, February 17th when fans come out to Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
After their big win over the Texas Longhorns, the Texas Tech Lady Raiders don't get much of a break. They will host #18 Texas A&M tonight. Yeah, the Aggies are the defending national champs. No one said it would be easy in the Big 12.
The last time these two teams met, it was on Oklahoma State's home court. With just over a minute left in the game, Texas Tech only trailed by three points. But the Cowboys' Keiton Page had other ideas.
The Texas Tech Lady Raiders were on a five game losing streak but that came to an end this past weekend. The Lady Raiders show why they are ranked #21 in the country and beat the Texas Longhorns 75-71.
The Red Raiders could not find that run to keep things close against #10 Kansas, as they did in their first two conference games against Oklahoma State and #4 Baylor. Kansas just rolled to an 81-46 win.
After giving young coaches an opportunity to move up and become a defensive coordinator, and seeing that hasn't worked out to well, coach Tommy Tuberville went and hired someone he knows and has been a defensive coordinator.
