It's become almost a game to see how Starbucks can butcher your name. I'm actually disappointed when they spell it right!

Now, my wife's name isn't exactly common, it's spelled "Silke" and she's from Germany. But today when she ordered a coffee her cup said "Zensky", which we both found hilarious by the way... or at least I did.

She thought it sounded Polish or Bavarian, which makes it even more funny if you know the region.  My wife pronounces her name like "silky" so they actually weren't too far off, and considering they probably write hundreds a day it could be worse.

I actually saved the cup from the time they wrote "Duck" instead of Doug.  And I can promise you if I was your barista the temptation to mess with people's names would be unbearable!

You'll have to let me know or send a photo to doug.brannson@townsquaremedia.com if you've had this Starbuck's experience.
