Traditional country devotee Daryle Singletary died suddenly in February. A special tribute concert honoring his legacy, featuring Rhett Akins, Chris Young, Alison Krauss, Jamey Johnson, Darryl Worley, Rhonda Vincent, Mo Pitney, Josh Turner and others, has been announced for March 27 at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.

The tribute, dubbed the Daryle Singletary Keepin' It Country Tribute Show, is free and open to the public. It will take place at 7PM.

Worley notes in a press release that being asked to sing at the tribute is a huge honor. "I can only hope that it will bring some comfort to the family to honor him and his memory with this gathering," he adds.

Singletary died unexpectedly at the age of 46 on Feb. 12, leaving behind a wife and four children. He was widely respected as one of the premiere '90s vocalists with hits including "I Let Her Lie" and "Amen Kind of Love." After Singletary's sudden passing, a number of artists including Luke CombsWalker McGuireTravis Tritt and Charlie Daniels turned to social media to share their thoughts and tributes, and various artists have paid respect in impromptu ways in the weeks following his death.

On Feb. 14, Platinum Records Nashville released a new song, "She's Been Cheatin' on Us," online, representing it as some of Singletary's final recorded work and saying the proceeds would go to his family for expenses. The next day Singletary's longtime business partner, Chuck Rhodes, told Taste of Country and other media that the recording was not sanctioned by any of Singletary's family or associates and that a cease and desist had been issued.

Singletary's associated have launched an official YouCaring account to help pay for his expenses and help his family.
