Sonic Drive-in to Be Acquired by Parent Company of Buffalo Wild Wings

It looks like Sonic will be joining forces with the company who owns Buffalo Wild Wings, Arby's and Rusty Taco.

The deal was announced Tuesday, September 25th, as Sonic Corp. will be purchased by Inspire Brands for $2.3 billion dollars. (That's a lot of tots!)

Of course, the transaction must still be approved by Sonic Corp. shareholders. I just hope we will not see buffalo wing flavored slushes coming any time soon.
