Seafood Galore At Ragin’ Cajun
If you are allergic to shellfish, you probably won’t want to eat at the Ragin’ Cajun cause that’s what they’ll serve up in abundance this weekend. Saturday, April 9, from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. you can feast on crawfish, shrimp and crab legs and listen to the music of Las Iguanas and Southern Conviction, and check out some terrific silent and live auction items. It all takes place at the city Bank Coliseum and tickets before April 8 are $35 and $40 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, go by the Special Olympics office at 1318 13th, or the WesTex Federal Credit Union locations in Lubbock and Plainview. This event has, for TWENTY-TWO YEARS, benefited Special Olympics Texas, a privately funded non profit organization providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 40,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
