Sara Evans and her husband, Jay Barker, already have seven kids between them — but that hasn’t kept the happy couple from wanting to add one more little one to their gigantic family.  No one has spotted a baby bump just yet, but Evans recently opened up to OK! magazine about her desire to have another child.

“We talk about that a lot,” the country singer, 41, said of the couple’s baby plans. We would actually love to [have another baby]. I don’t have a ton of time to be sitting around considering it [laughs], but we would love to – yes. That would be a blessing. Our kids beg us to all the time, but we keep putting it off. We’ll see. That’s definitely something we talk about.”

Evans and Barker, a sports radio host in Birmingham, Ala., recently celebrated their fourth anniversary. When the country music star and the sports fanatic married, they each brought children from a previous relationship to their new marriage. Evans moved her three kids (Avery, 11, Olivia, 9, and Audrey, 7) to Birmingham, where she now lives with Barker and his brood of four (Andrew, 13, Braxton, 11, Sarah Ashlee, 10, and Harrison, 10). Barker shares custody of his children with their birth mother.

Although living with seven kids sounds like chaos, Evans has nothing but warm things to say about her husband and his children.

“Jay is just perfect in every way,” she admits. “Seriously, he’s the perfect combination of all of the things that I wanted in a man. He’s the exact right of tough and manly, and the exact right of sweet and the exact right of romantic, and he’s not extreme in any one of those areas.”

While some might worry that Evans’ kids could feel jealous sharing their mom with Barker’s group, she insists that her children don’t mind. They were so young when their mother remarried that they hardly remember when things were any different. In fact, they love their big family so much that they are begging for another brother or sister.

But Evans isn’t lying when she says she doesn’t have a lot of down time to think about getting pregnant. Last week, the ‘Born to Fly’ hitmaker jetted to Oklahoma City to sing the National Anthem before the NBA Finals game between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Plus, she’s booked solid with tour dates through August. But who knows? Maybe later this year she will begin to show a baby bump!
