Once again the Texas Tech Red Raiders came out play a great first half against Baylor. But once the second half was the problem as Baylor beat Tech 73-60.

Tech got off to great start, with an early and they stayed in front for most of the half until Baylor took a 32-31 at half time.

The Red Raiders forced 10 Baylor turnovers, in fact Tech's DeShon Minnis caused some of those turnovers with his play, by getting into passing lanes and coming up with a couple of steal.

Minnis also hit a three to cut Baylors lead to four at the 7 minute mark, but the Bears then went on a 16-7 run and Tech could not keep up.

There is no question the Red Raiders are competing, but they have to eliminate the defensive lapes, and turnovers. Tech pulled down 25 rebounds which was seven below their average.

The Red Raiders are now 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the Big 12 and it doesn't get any easier. Tech will host #14 Kansas this Wednesday at 8pm in the United Spirit Arena.
