After one season as the defensive coordinator for the Texas Tech Red Raider football team, Chad Glasgow is leaving and head coach Tommy Tuberville will be hiring yet another defensive coordinator. Just last week Tech was denying reports that Glasgow was out.

 

Last week CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman had reported that Glasgow had been fired, a report that Tech officials denied.

Today, according to an article on redraiders.com, Glasgow is leaving. Tech officials say it was a mutual agreement.

Under Glasgow the Tech defense ranked 120th in the nation, last in rushing defense and 113th in pass defense.

With the departure of Glasgow, the Red Raider defense with have a different defensive coordinator for the fourth year in a row.

Glasgow was a defensive backs coach for TCU for 10 years before coming to Texas Tech.
