At a car shop in Plano, Texas, the owner has a unique promotion that can be seen as an attraction or a deterrent for customers. The Kwik Kar Lube and Service owner Charlie Whittington offers a discount if you can quote John 3:16 out of the Bible.

The verse, "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life", is a fairly common one. Most people know it and take advantage of the 50% off their oil change.
