Lubbock Police have released 9-1-1 audio from a potential drive-by shooting at Rosa's Cafe in North Lubbock as they continue to seek a suspect.

Dr. Michael Oliva’s passenger window was shattered on Tuesday, January 13, as he waited in the drive-thru line at Rosa’s Café’s 4th St. and Quaker Ave. location.

In the 9-1-1 call, Oliva calmly reports being shot in the neck. Lubbock Police believe the window was shot out by a small projectile such as a BB gun.

In an interview with KAMC News, Oliva said he was hit by glass and some kind of projectile, but was otherwise unharmed.

Although a suspect has not been identified, police have labeled the case an aggravated assault.

Anyone with information on this incident is urged to contact the Lubbock Crime Line at 741-1000.
