Parma, Ohio has a bit of a Halloween controversy building. And it's all over some Halloween decorations. But are these decorations too much? Or is it all in the spirit of the holiday?

Vicki Barrett and her husband like decorating for Halloween. And this year, the couple pulled out all the stops.

They have a body hanging upside down from a tree cocooned in a body bag, a body impaled on a spike with a machete through their throat and another body being crucified upside down on an upside down cross.

And, as I'm sure it's meant to do, it's scaring people. Watch the news report above for plenty of footage of the decorations. The family decided to take their Halloween decorations down following complaints from their neighbors.

As far as my personal opinion goes, and all religious arguments aside, I do think it's a bit much for the front yard. This is a family neighborhood where kids like to play outside and these Halloween decorations are really scaring children.

I don't think they should be forced to take them down because it's still freedom of expression. However, I feel they could use some slightly better judgement and move the decorations to the backyard and maybe allow people to visit Halloween night.

Don't get me wrong: I think the decorations are awesome, but if they were in my neighborhood where my kids play I would have a problem with it too because these types of images can really affect kids' fragile emotions.

Otherwise, great job and way to get into the spirit of Halloween!
