North Dakota Has Made Texas Its Home Away from Home in Football

My Alma mater North Dakota State have come down to Frisco Texas for the last four years and walked away with four strait FCS National Championships.

Ok, I have to brag a little bit here about my old college NDSU as the "Thundering Herd" Bison have done what no other team has done, won four strait FCS National Championships.  The FCS is Division One, the level below Texas Tech.

It's a competitive division however as the Bison have beat Kansas, Kansas St., Iowa State and Minnesota in the past.  They've given other big name schools lots of problems too.

In the process, North Dakotans have flocked to the Frisco Texas area year after year, many leave days early, including my sister and her family who have made the trek every year.  They love Texas and the people from Frisco seem to love when the Bison are playing, the hotels are full and the restaurants and bars are rockin'.

Now, maybe I can start the process to get this game moved to Lubbock!  But can they actually go for 5 in a row??  I guess we'll find out next year!
