There's a new group on the horizon for 2012. A trio of musicians, Damien Horne, Krista Marie and Nick Hoffman are known as "The Farm" and are getting ready to make their Grand Ole Opry debut this weekend. Horne, formerly with John Rich's MusikMafia tells this site that it's a dream come true. "Playing the Grand Ole Opry is a dream of all dreams, as an artist, a fan and an African American."

Hoffman, on fiddle, says his inspiration came from Roy Acuff. "When I first saw him spin his bow and play that fiddle on TV, I knew that Nashville was the place for me." And Krista Marie, on vocals and guitar, says her family was sure she would one day perform at the Opry. "The last time my grandmother came to visit, she said, 'I can't wait until the day YOU are playing here. I won't miss it.'"

In 2011 The Farm released "Home Sweet Home" which has charted on Hot Country Songs and you're sure to hear it if you're at the Opry this Friday night. Here's that song that's getting this new group noticed.
