It's a busy week for Jim Henson's Muppets. They are headed to the White House for a special screening for military families of their new movie, "The Muppets". Similar special events for military families have been held at the White House this past year, with one just before Father's Day in June and another on Halloween.

The movie stars of course the fabulous Muppets and opens Wednesday at movie theaters nationwide. One of the writers and also a voice in in the movie is done Jason Segel, who tells the Associated Press some were worried he'd do it with a wink and make it ironic and they didn't realize he'd approach it so honestly. "You could never do an ironic Muppets movie...it's all about goodness and laughter and friendship and the most important thing that matters is being nice." Sounds like my kind of movie. Can't wait to see it. Check out the official trailer.
