Update: According to Lubbock Police Department Public Information Officer Tiffany Pelt, Dilcy Ann Collins has been located.

During a search near I-27 and Marsha Sharp Freeway, west of the Flying J, family members found her. They were helping local police officers in the search at the time.

Collins is being taken to the local hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation, according to police.

Original story: According to the Lubbock Police Department's Facebook page, Dilcy Ann Collins was reported missing Tuesday morning (July 10, 2018) at around 9:30 a.m.

Her family has told police that she has dementia and other health issues.

She is black, 78 years old, with gray hair, 5'8" and weighs about 110 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, light blue jeans and slip-on shoes.

Collins was last seen near the 200 block of Cherry Avenue in Lubbock and is believed to be on foot, police say.

The photos above show her wearing glasses and a wig, but police say she wouldn't currently be wearing either.
