Is Mackenzie Park Haunted?

There are several locations around Lubbock reported to be haunted. We are gong to focus on Mackenzie Park in Lubbock.

The story is that Native Americans cursed the land and performed human sacrifices around 1877. The far east end of the park near the gates of the Lubbock Cemetery is known as Hell's Gate and is rumored to be the center of the action.

Reports of bloody, scalped ghosts moaning in pain have been circulated throughout the area for years.

My thought is, if you've heard or seen anything lately, it may be a lost "ghost" or "ghoul" from Nightmare on 19th Street.
