Luke Bryan is one of the new breed in country music. He had the urging of his parents to pursue a music career. He had his own band in college.After graduating from George Southern University, he went to work for his father's agriculture business. After about a year his dad made him quit and moved to Nashville in 2001.

By 2007 he released his debut album called "I'll Stay Me", which included his first Top Ten song "All My Friends Say".

Bryan's next album, "Doin' My Thing", came out in 2009 and produced his first Number One song, "Rain Is A Good Thing". In the song Bryan sings about how rain grows corn, and corn makes whiskey, and that makes his girl friend frisky.
