Two iconic bars in downtown Lubbock are changing.

Tom's Daiquiri that has been in a shared spot with The Blue Light Live since 1997 has moved locations. Tom's will now be on the other side of Blue Light in the old Rewind building.

Tom's new location at 1802 Buddy Holly Ave, Lubbock, TX will still offer their daiquiri's, 8 different options, and what everyone knows and loves from the other location but just bigger and more things to do.

You can now play arcade games like basketball, air hockey, beer pong, pool tables, football, cranes, and more! Everything that was offered at the old Tom's will be avliable at the new location.

They are still giving away their free jalapeno popcorn and working on the patio for Tom's but that should be done soon.

With Tom's moving that will also give Blue Light Live a chance to expand and change a little.

Blue Light Live, 1806 Buddy Holly Ave, Lubbock, TX, will still be a small intimate space but they will be adding a green room for the bands. They are looking at adding a bathroom and a shower out there without changing the Narnia bathroom.

They are possibly going to expand the stage a little bit to make more room for them.

They always close during spring break, so that is when they plan on working on all this and hopefully that will be the only time that they will be closed to the public for these renovations.

Tom's is now open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Thursday through Saturday they offer their happy hour from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. You can find out more about Tom's Daiquiri on their Facebook page.
