Thursday, August 17th is the big day Lubbock gets another Chick-fil-A location at 5705 4th Street.

And, as always, Chick-fil-A will be giving away meals for a year to the first 100 people on Wednesday, August 16th. But there's a catch this year, and a fun one!

From Chick-fil-A:

A popular game with campers during the traditional First 100 campout event, the 4th and Frankford Chick-fil-A opening has created a customized full-scale Scavenger Hunt. It does not require participants to camp overnight at the new restaurant to win their prize. Up to 100 eligible participants, ages 18 and older, who follow the rules and complete all the required tasks, will win a digital offer card loaded with a one-year supply of free Chick-fil-A Meals.

Registration will start at 6 a.m. and will end when all 100 registrants are present. But here is the cool part of the scavenger hunt:

"Participants will have plenty of time to finish the Scavenger Hunt which will involve pay it forward activities at sites located within miles of the new restaurant, including packing 10,000 meals for Feeding Children Everywhere."

Not only are you getting something awesome from Chick-fil-A, but you're helping the community as well!

So, get in line now or sometime before Wednesday morning and get some cool stuff and help out children in need as well!
