The Caerus Ensemble is a chamber group that performs throughout West Texas in schools, concert halls, memory care units and centers for people with disabilities.

I came across the group on their Kickstarter.com page. The good news is that they're already fully funded. The even better news is that they can perform for groups which include people with disabilities and memory issues.

The Caerus group's mission statement is "to provide high quality artistic, educational and therapeutic musical opportunities for audiences in a wide range of venues."

The group has performed at assisted living centers, the Burkhart Center for Autism, The Museum of Texas Tech University and the Highpoint Village Center for people with disabilities.

They've witnessed firsthand the power that music has to engage a portion of our population that is usually under served in areas of music and creative process.
