Lubbock Trick Roper Has Performed Twice at the White House [Video]

Brice Chapman is a seasoned trick roper who has performed all over Texas and New Mexico. Chapman's so good that he has been invited to perform at the White House...twice!

Not only do you not run across an expert trick roper just every day (even in West Texas!), but you definitely don't run into one who has been to the White House a couple of times.

Both times that Chapman was invited were under the George W. Bush administration. He took family members, who all had a wonderful time and were treated very nicely by the Bush Family and their guests.

But the two standout stories are about his grandfather bonding with then-Press Secretary Tony Snow, and his little girl having her first horse ride ever on the White House Lawn.

Way to go Brice for helping to keep West Texas weird and wonderful!
