Lubbock Receives Light Snow

As we all know by now, we got a little band of snow that moved across the Hub last night.

As it may have come as a surprise to most of us, the best news is that is barely affected roadways or travel this morning.

Wes Nessman, from our sister station FMX, posted about his drive into work this morning, saying that it was really no problem.

The main thing is, as always, be cautious and courteous, especially on bridges and overpasses.  If you are driving in a high profile vehicle, be aware of the smaller vehicles around you.  And above all else, be extra careful and alert in school zones and school crossings.
